Lisa Rinna recently did her first interview since announcing her departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 8 seasons.

Due to her mother's death and her Aspen trip drama with Kathy Hilton, filming the latest season was difficult.

Lisa felt that her side of the story was not told as well as she would have liked.

She said she didn't turn on her voice memos to record Kathy's nuclear breakdown during their fight.

Despite the drama, Lisa's husband Harry Hamlin helped her make amends with Kathy at the 2022 People's Choice Awards.

Lisa gave Kathy credit for attending the season 12 reunion, and said that she respects that Kathy stood up for what she believes in.

Lisa said that her experience on the show taught her a lot, and that she can go up against anyone in the world now.

Lisa mentioned that she told her co-stars about her departure at the season 12 reunion taping.

Despite her exit, Lisa said that she is grateful for her experience on the show.
